PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING EVENT

• Due to space limitations, items are run in the newspaper based on availability of space.
• Classes and workshops must be free of admission and materials cost to be accepted.
• Community events cannot be for profit or business promotion.
• All events must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event date.
• All events must be held at a public venue - private residences cannot be accepted.
• Fundraising events must include the name of beneficiary.
• All events must be open to the general public - private membership organizations not accepted.
• Weekly or monthly organizational meetings are not considered events.
• The Desert Sun reserves the right to edit for space, content, and clarity.
• The calendar on mydesert.com is currently offline. We will be upgrading to a new system in the future. Events still will appear in the newspaper as space permits.

If you submit more than 150 characters, we will truncate it to 150 characters, NO EXCEPTIONS!
